Thank you for taking the time to view my design portfolio. I’m an educator with a creative spirit, leading design projects for six years. As an Academic Advisor and Student Support Coordinator I’ve had the opportunity to hone my graphic design skills, increasing student retention, generating leads, and promoting student-centered events. Utilizing these skills, I have designed websites and brand materials for small businesses as well.

Staying Connected
In collaboration with our PUERTA Promotores we made something very special during a time of solace.
The first few weeks of the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic had many contemplating the uncertainty as we isolated inside our homes. That feeling of uncertainty was not lost on the student population at Sonoma State University.
As many student support professionals were trying to mitigate the academic fallout, in PUERTA Centro (a program for aspiring teachers of Latinx heritage and first-generation background) we wanted to promote our online presence and care in a virtual hug.
The Rising Stars Celebration
An event presented by PUERTA Centro (Diversity in Teaching) recognizing Sonoma State University students in their potential to become exceptional educators in K-12 public school system.
Faculty nominated students were mailed save the dates and emailed invitations to the dinner and celebration.
The event consisted of a pre-event faculty luncheon, keynote speaker, dinner and conference style sessions to inspire prospective students to obtain a teaching credential.
Every fall semester TRIO SSS hosts a welcome event for all new & returning student participants. This year’s theme was “piecing it together.”
Trifold brochures were printed on gloss premium paper and distributed at check-in and postcard invited were mailed out.
